During her science career, Alexis honed her analytical skills while working on a diverse range of biological field projects that took her from the Costa Rican rainforests, to the wetlands of Georgia and South Carolina, to diving expeditions off of the Florida Keys. Eventually she settled in Pittsburgh to be closer to family and to pursue her interest in real estate.
